Crew

Each year, If Opera looks for local young crew (18+) to help set up and run the festival.

The work is varied and includes assisting with event fit-up, such as setting up performance spaces, seating, staging, green rooms, and lighting, as well as supporting performances, concerts, and other events. Crew members help prepare picnic areas, welcome and assist audiences, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

You’ll work closely with the Production and Front of House teams, helping with set and prop moves, show pre-sets, and general event support. At the end of the festival, crew also assist with the get-out, dismantling and packing away equipment and staging. The work can be physical, and full training is provided.
