If you are a UK taxpayer, you can boost your donation to Iford Arts by 25p in every £1 you donate – at no cost to yourself.
If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate (40% or 45%), you can claim back the difference between the basic rate (20%) and your rate on the gross value of your donation.
You can choose to add Gift Aid during the membership sign up or renewal process.

We would like to bring to your attention section 6 of our Memorandum which states:
"6. Every member of the Charity undertakes to contribute such amount as may be required (not exceeding £10) to the Charity’s assets if it should be wound up while he or she is a member or within one year after he or she ceases to be a member, for payment of the Charity’s debts and liabilities contracted before he or she ceases to be a member, and of the costs charges and expenses of winding up, and for the adjustment of the rights of the contributories among themselves."
When you join as a Patron of If Opera (t/a Iford Arts), you are automatically opted into this liability (up to a maximum of £10) but can choose to opt out during the sign up process. Please note, if you choose to opt out of member's liability, you are no longer eligible to attend or vote at Annual General Meetings.

All levels of If Opera support and patronage comprise a benefits value detailing the actual cost of the benefits to the charity. These benefits can be purchased separately at this price. Any amounts given over and above this benefits value are given freely as a donation and are eligible for Gift Aid. All donations are non-refundable.

All Patrons receive dedicated quarterly newsletters which share exclusive insight from behind the scenes as well as making sure you’re the first to hear about our upcoming events and news. Alongside this, you will also receive a complimentary season programme and brochure.
Just make sure you opt in to receive email and post when joining or renewing your membership to ensure we can deliver these updates directly to you!

Your If Opera membership is valid for 12 months from the point of payment.
Membership benefits may be updated following the summer season. Any such updates, along with renewal invitations, will be communicated to all Patrons before 31st October of the same year.
Bespoke Support
If you would like to support at a different level or would like to direct your gift to a particular aspect of If Opera, do get in touch with our General Manager, Debbie Heyden.
Whether it’s our work with young people and the wider community with our ‘What If?’ project or maybe a particular production or aspect of a production – lighting, costumes, or something else – we would love to hear from you and will work with you to direct and recognise your gift in the most appropriate way.
